My rambles again ...

As usual , my Mondays and Tuesdays are packed with classes and finally , its the Wednesday ! I am so happy its the Wednesday , I am able to rest . Normally , I will try to finish some homework and stuff but in view of the test on Friday , I shall have all my focus on that . 

Yesterday , my group mate , Z , asked me whether I had swine flu because I was coughing away . Another group mate , I  , jumped into my defense and said I haven't gone to Mexico . If any Aussie friends of mine reading this blog , I am not having any swine virus . It is just that the weather is cold , and then I start coughing . When I am back at my room , I was okie . 

Me and another , G, went to the lab today . Because the lab tech promised to help us with our spacer . And he said he forgotten about us ! He quickly took our measure and went for lunch . But when he exit the lab , another group when to asked him for help . I guess his lunch will be delayed again . 

My sister just came back from Bangkok yesterday . She bought me many many Naraya stuff . Hahas , she is so excited to show it to me . I am excited to see too ! I heard from Mum that she bought entire set for me ! 

Nothing special anyway . Hahas ... stay tuned for my next update !

Another week has gone ...

Another week has gone ...

I am getting closer and closer to the semester examinations . Currently on the road to buck up . Receive my exams results , not pleased with it because I know I can work harder ! Started off my day by waiting for the clock to tick till 11.30 and I started to clean my room . I find that it is reasonable to start cleaning at 11.30 because everyone should be awake and not be annoyed by the noise of my vacuum cleaner .

I am suppose to do my housework yesterday but the lecturer set an online quiz on that day . I had no choice but to do it on that day else it will expire and I will be in deep trouble . I started my spirit of an ant since 11 am . After doing the practice test , I am quite confident to pass the quiz . Then when I do the quiz , it was different from what is on the practice test , I felt so cheated . I manage to just pass it ... When I look at the clock , it was 4 pm ! I quickly bath and ate my lunher ... 

Weeks are as per normal , this coming Friday morning , I will have a test . I MUST study hard for that . My group project currently still ok . Manage to get both device moving . I am so glad . Its not a stand still anymore . Phew ! Assignment , lab reports , homework , journal , all these need to be clear . I try do my very very best . 

Blogging with a mask on my face , felt so good because I can feel that the skin absorbing the essence . Hahas ... Also blogging doesn't need much face expression so my face can keep still . Hahas ... I hope to get my porcelain face back ! Talking about face , I realized that facial products is seriously important . I used to wash my face with XXXX XXXX facial cleanser and within 2 weeks , it ruin my face . Now using face shop cleanser , my T-zone would not be that oily anymore . Face shop products here are cheaper than those in Singapore . The popular mug bean ( Green Bean ) facial cleanser is $10 here per tube . 

Weather here is freaky cold . The maximum is below 15 degrees .  Wind is super strong , the dustbins are flying everywhere . Its makes me sad and inactive . I finally understand why those cambridge markers get so sad during winter . Cold = gloomy thus not wanting to move about much .

Surprise ... Surprise ...

Surprise ... Surprise ...

Are you all surprise ? To see my recent blog update so regularly ? I felt so guilty for neglecting my blog . I realized how beautiful the blog skin is . I just couldn't bear to change the blog skin after 500 and +++ days . All thanks to my iemnimihs . How could I not blog ?

Yesterday , I watch Fast and Furious with Nicole . I enjoyed the thrill I felt during the movie but too bad , the first one is still the best , followed by the previous one . I hasn't figure out is the theme songs for this movie . I loved the part whereby they change the gear , step on the clutch and accelerator ; oh ya and the drifting part ! While watching the movie , I missed my clubbing days , the song's in the movie were just the right songs !

Talking about clutch , I kinda of miss manual car . I am holding a manual car license yet I have not drive a manual car since the day I got my license . I remembered I got super piss when the ' dumb dumb ' car over-reacted by jumping violently or the ' dumb dumb' engine just died on me . I was green with envy when I was inside the circuit whereby the Autos had their smooth ride . I was also full of regret and almost wanted to change to auto car when there is instructor who advice me to change to auto car because he seriously thinks that I can't drive manual car . Those were the days ...  

Before I went for movies with Nicole , Evan and I went to do grocery shopping . I wanted to get a body exfoliator because my skin is coming to look like the Crocs' ones . It all started from not having the habit to apply moisturize . In Singapore , I do not have dry skin at all , but the air here is quite dry , thus , it caused my skin to go dry . 

Sidetrack a bit , the air here is doing my face good . From oily skin I once had , my face condition had become combination skin . I miss my ' before 20 ' face . Now , it has lots of after-war debris . Currently , my face is under control , no more outbreaks . So my next step of skin care is whitening . I am indirectly-force to take care of my face , I felt sad after seeing many pimples scars . Scurb , mask , toner , moisturizer and essence ; I had to faithfully do them weekly . There is a price to pay for everything you want . 

Then we end up shop for clothes . She bought a black colour jacket while I got a Cardigan and a Vee Neck Knit Top from Cotton On. I was pleased with my buy because both the Cardigan and Vee Neck Knit Top will thin yet able to keep me warm . I was kind of scared my real Sis might ROAR at me for buying clothes again . But she didn't , she thinks that I should get them here , those I bought in Singapore are not suitable here .

Today , I started my Saturday with the cleaning ritual . Felt super happy to see my room clean and tidy . Should be staying home today .

First Day of School ...

First Day of School ...

Today is the first day of school after a week break . I felt so rejuvenated that I am able to wake up promptly at 9 am . Normally , I will lazed on the bed till 9.30 and jumped up in hurry to prepare for my classes . There is a price to pay when you miss lessons . I need not go for any classes today but because I had missed lesson on Monday , I had to go for another class today . 

Bearing in mind , yesterday was a super chilly day . I wore my sweater and brought along my jacket . I am glad it wasn't as cold as yesterday because the sun is out . I walked quickly to the venue as it is far and I am afraid I will late . When I arrived at the lecture theater , there are heaps of people waiting outside . I am glad the previous lecture has not ended else I would not get a good seat .

Finally , the lecturer ended his lecture but he has not ended his session . Many people started walking leaving his voice trail behind , ' Remembered to ... blah blah blah ... ' . My favourite seat is near the exit of the theater . So that when the lecture ends , I will leave the theater immediately . If I have taken the center seat , most probably is because my friend came first , and so I join her by the side . Else , its alway , the left or the right . 

My accounts class was okie . I like attending the Thursday class because the lecturer will point out some stuff , like taking note of the differences between this and this , or an example of this and this , or don't mix up this and this term , unlike some lecturer who read out the powerpoint slides or misuse the time . Today lecture is about Classification statement and BAD DEBT or DOUBTFUL DEBT . As the name implies , I shall not explain . Copy three balance sheets and I have not review it yet . 

Next is materials class , as usual , the rattling of materials about its properties at different conditions . I was listening and copying notes , and now , I am wondering what I had learnt . The only good news we got was our journal 3 got postpone because we cannot do until today's lesson . Also partly because lecturer is ill and she had not finish marking our Test 1 and Journal 2 . 

After materials class , Nicole and I went to the library . We had to complete our lab report and hand in tomorrow . Sat down and we discuss , I was in-charged of the graph while she did the calculations . As we compared the experimental value and the theoretical value , the difference was thousand miles apart . I tried different method and finally gave up on the new method . Because it is obviously wrong . So as we came to an agreement that we will continue from where we stop . She change her pencil marks to ink pen while I do the discussion . We left the library at 7 ( Enter at 3.30 ) . She said that was the longest we stayed in the library , I was thinking was I that bad .

We head out for dinner . It was chilly and I wanted hot soup . She decided korean restaurant and so I have pan fan and egg soup ( mostly egg , hardly have any soup ) . Its was great but I don't really felt filled . So we went round window shopping . Randomly looking at stuff , checking the price of the champagne we got from party world . Hers was about $9 and party world charge customers $38 . Mine was $38 and party world charge $68 . I was overwhelmed by the big difference . But come to think of it , the coke, honey lemon tea  is less than $1 and they charge $9 . Which is more worth it ? The only console was we didn't have to literally pay for it . 

After window shopping , we went to Star-Bucks for drinks and cake . I order white choc mocha and tiramisu . I felt great ! Especially on a chilly day . I felt so relax . I will be slacking at home again since my project mates felt that there is no need to meet tomorrow . 

Okie ... bed is calling me le ... got to go le ... bye bye

A post after a month ...

A post after a month ...

While I was checking my blog , I felt so guilty , its been a month since I last updated . Am I really that busy ? I don't know . Maybe I felt that I don't have good pictures so I don't feel like updating my blog ? 

I went to St Kida beach to check out penguins . I didn't know till Evan's friend brought us there . From left to right , shi yuan ( Joanna ) , Evan and me ...  Penguins are hiding in between the rocks and so there is no good pictures of them . 

Next up its the Mobai/Mobay water festival . Went over there to watch fireworks . Went there with Nicole , then Evan meet us there to watch fireworks .

That day , when I went to Casino with Evan , happen that there is motor show . So I took some a picture with the old old car .

After all these , practically back to my routine life . Monday , Tuesday , and alternate Thursday I will go to school . Wednesday , I will do my washing and maybe head out to stock up my frigde . Friday morning I will meet my project mates . Then Saturday , washing and cleaning of house . Slack till monday , and the cycle repeats ...

Currently my school closes for the semester , that's why I had the time to blog . Weeks were horrible before the semester break . Datelines and test , they all seem to come at the same time and so currently I had a relaxed holiday . I guess I should be studying real soon . Start to clear some of my assignments before it gets pile up again . 

Yesterday , I went to sing K with Nicole and her friend , Lin . Hahas , we manage to get along . Lin is on a working holiday visa . She had completed her masters one year ago and so she is on a working holiday visa . To have fun and work and the same time . She is from Taiwan . She's a typical Taiwanese girl . I admire her courage , she went to perth to work as domestic helper , then to Tasmania to work in the farm and that's how she came to know about Nicole and then since Sunday , she went to Melbourne to tour a bit . She is now in Singapore . Staying there for two nights , and then to Bangkok for a few nights and then head back to Taiwan .

We went to KBox initially but it was fully booked . Then we went to Partyworld . It was also fully booked . 4 rooms were booked , 3 at 10 pm . So I asked the person what is the holding time . She said 30 minutes . And so from 10 pm , we waited till 10.30 pm . And finally , we got a room . Its $280 for the room but u have $280 credit to order food and drinks. So we pig it out and had fun . We sang till 3 am . We didn't manage to finish our credit . So we ended up , ordering 2 bottle of champagne . One is with me , the other is Nicole . I seriously don't know what to do with it .

F1 race ended 2 Saturdays ago , I was disappointed because I couldn't go . Tickets here are much cheaper then in Singapore because I quality for student discount . I heard that those who bought it at main entrances do not have that . Price before discount is $99 , price after student discount was $68 . And its not those faraway view but those next to the track . I was green with envy when I saw the pictures my friend's friend took . I guess the tickets in Singapore are much expensive and they do not have student discounts . And you have to see it from super faraway . 

I manage to watch the movie here in Melbourne, ' He's not that into you ' with Evan . She happened to have this free movie ticket coupon and so she asked me along to watch the movie . I wanted to watch this movie for some time but I didn't had the opportunity . Shi yuan was nice , she didn't want to watch the movie and gave up her coupon to me . Evan will want to claim credit for this because she will say she asked Shi Yuan for the movie tickets . 

I prefer the movie a lot because it is happy ending ! The book is realistic and practical . I agree with the idea-logy of the rule and the exception .  The ending in the movie is exception . The book basically tells you signs of whether the guy is into or not into you . So irritating , where is the happy ending when you put stuff to a full-stop . Grrr ... roar ... Currently , reading a book called confession of a shopaholic , its so half me , and half not me ... 

Yesterday , I finished watching perfect cut I and II . I am so so in loved with the theme song; its those meaningful ones . There is this sentence I find it very meaningful , ' Words are not to hurt but to say I love you . ' . I realized that as we grow , we more words we learnt , the more hurtful we are . Words that are positive : pretty , beautiful , clever , intelligent , smart , clever , nice ( learnt it at an age of 6/7?).... negative : bitch , whore , slut , mean , evil , whore , stupid , brainless , lazy ( learnt it at a age of 15/16 ?) ... . I could easily chant out negative words than possible words ; not to mention phrases . These tell us what ? 

Anyway , I liked the show a lot . Had to skip those parts whereby Doctor Tan did surgery . I used to find it irritating because perfect cut often aired before my departure to Melbourne . I managed to catch the series on Tu Duo . Maybe its a blessing in disgust , I had the full episode so I need not wait and watch one episode per day . 

I finally had a facebook account . I am seriously not into it . Jing wants me to sign out for it because she wants to send me a message . Touch* . Hope she does well in both in her work and school . Miss her ... Also sec school friends ... Fave 38s lik Mavis and Val , missya , Mirabel too with the YSSSL ... wonder how are they . Hopefully I can go back in June to meet all of you ...  

I guess all for tonight ... hope I didn't bored you all to death ... plans for tomorrow are , checkout Bundoora and wash my bed sheets ...
