Grab the $7 cashcard ASAP

I was having fun playing with the ' Personalised Your Own Cashcard ' and I chance upon this information on, ' http://www.nets.com.sg/consumers/netscashcardrevisedpricing/index.php ' about the revising prices of cashcard . Those who read newspaper regularly will know about it . People like me who like to flip newspaper might not know this yet !

After reading the posting , I was shock and had the urge to grab at least 2 cashcard because the darn cashcard spoil so easily ( will elaborate further later on ) and we need to use it for the ERP system . No worries about getting and not using it because you will get the full refund back ! But get it quickly because it will not be sold after 1st May .

About the spoilt cashcard part :

Recently , we receive a letter from the LTA that our car had gone through the gantry without inserting the cashcard which we did . Like most of the time , we thought that the IU unit is spoilt . So I called the LTA helpline for assistant . They advise me to get the IU unit changed at the Vicom center . So real Sis and I went to get the IU unit change . We queue like all other drivers who had their IU tested and changed if spoilt . When its finally our turn , the technician tested and find that there is no problem with the IU unit . My sis explain that it has already happened too many times . The technician then took out his own cashcard and insert into our IU system and it worked . He then turn to the other side of the card and it states , ' Four hours of heat resistant . ' .I was like ' What the ... ' .It turn out then the cashcard is spoilt . And the print's of the cashcard was the butterfly type one . We had another cashcard which is been bought much earlier was spoilt only when the entire card got sun-tanned till burnt ( sun-tanned = card turn from blue to brown , actually its literally chao dan ). Nevertheless , both spoilt new and old cashcard can been still be refunded using ATM machines .

Things I learnt through this experience :

-new cashcard spoil easily
-don't go to LTA( which is in Sim Ming Drive )if your IU unit is spoilt , go to any Vicom . They are open from Mon - Sat ; from 8 - 5 pm .
-IU unit has 5 years warranty from the date of purchase of the car .

Indulging in Sprees = Bad !

Indulging in Sprees = Bad !

I am now trying to kick away my bad shopping habit . Recently , I am active in various shopping sprees . But I made an effort to stop buying by recording what I bought and making a list of what I had to buy . This really helps me to curb my bad shopping habits .

Let me share with you how terrible it is ...

On 27/03 : I placed order for a Bon Voyage Diary [ $ 26.90 ]

17/04 : I placed order for a white Ribbed blouse [ $25.05 paid by real Sis ]

20/04 : I placed order for 2 Le Petit Prince Diary , [ $25.50 each ]

*** One of it is for my friend's birthday present ***

21/04 : I placed an order for a medium size bag [ $15.25 ]

24/04 : I placed order for a shawl [ $9.80 ]

25/04 : I placed order for a medium size bag [ $17.00 ]

So , in total , I had spend $145 ! And I hasn't got any of the items yet . No worries folks ! I am not being cheated . Its normal in sprees to wait for the stuff to arrive for more than 1 month , sometimes up to 3 months . Ya , back to the huge spending part . I came to realise that I had really put a stop to it . And will not purchase anything from the spree till all my things had arrived !

Got guilty of spending so much money on sprees because I wasn't working and still in the job search status . Things are getting better now , I had more agents to send in resume for me when they find a suitable job and some are really active ! As in , ever since I send in the resume to her , she kept submitting my resume to other companies everyday . Hope I get a job real soon !

Introducing the angelical and the devilish item !

Angelical Item

Hahas , this book don't look very nice right ? This book is from my neighbour . I think he brought his girlfriend for a movie and ordered a popcorn . So this notebook is a freebie . I label this as angelical item because I kept my recording inside . Like stuff I bought , stuff I need , appointments , resume sent to who , what I bought from sprees and etc. Via recording , I tend to question myself , whether I really need it and stuff .

Devilish Item

Hahas , this calculator looks super chio right ! ( chio ? sounds funny because people refer pink as chio color ) . Hahas , Mum not very willing to get it for me because she don't think I need it . I tried to convince her that I need to have my own on because I am helping her to do some office stuff which needs calculations ( Actually , its nonsense because I only helped her to do filing and sorting of documents ). End up , she bought it because my sis wanted it too , so its 2 vs 1 , 2 won ! Disgusting Sis is so scheming . She is planning to smuggle it to her office !

Please do not be fooled by the chioness(??) of the calculator . Its the devil that keeps my buying of spree item super active . This calculator helps me to calculate the price of the item so easily . After looking at the price , I am so tempted to get my stuff ! Hence , its a devilish item !

Average week just passed ....

Average week just passed ....

Its was a good and bad week for me . On Monday was good because I received a letter from the government regarding the GST pack . Woo~ hooo~ , giving me $$$$ . Super duper happy . First time getting $$$$ from the government . On Tuesday , its was good because I received a call from the agency and I thought I am going to have a job . On Wednesday it was a bad day . I went down for the interview . Darn it ! The person said she didn't call me down for interview , then in the afternoon , she said she remembered she did and will keep me updated . After that at Sakea , Pat came to the buffet with a black face .Haizzz , the atmosphere was horrible . But in the end she went crazy again . Some bad habits are hard to die . She still order many food and it occupy the whole table . On Thursday , its was a average day . I received another call from the agency , she said she will get my information from the person whom speak to me . On Friday it was a bad day . I was down with bad flu ! We sent Dad to the airport then we ate Sakea there . Saw a girl with super lots of bags of RAOUL stuff . Today is Saturday , it was a bad to good day because initially at XXXX Tai Feng , the food was so-so , so i wanted to try the yam dumpling , end up they forgot our order ! Jie was in the rush so mum gave me $$$ to buy ice-cream for me and herself so that we can eat in the car . ( My Dad not around then can eat in the car ) . The green apple ice-cream was nice ! But Mum said strawberry ice-cream was better . The ice-cream store in located in Paragon , in front of Liberty Market , the store should states that its sugar free , mum + mine ice-cream cost $6.40 !

Best mahjong hand I ever had

This was the best mahjong had I ever had ! Hahas , see all the running number ! Kang the hong zhong ! I show this photo to my sister's boyfriend to ask how many tai is this , end up he said three only and brag that he can make all wan zhi . I was like Zzzz ...

As usual with my mahjong kakis , we really enjoyed playing mahjong together because we learn and have fun at the same time .


On our way back , suay ! Hope onto a super rude taxi driver . Manage to end it well because Cindy and I went to Alif and had a great supper ! The waiter kept joking about waiting one hour for the pratas . Hahas .

Today went tomb sweeping , so fast , my grandma passed away for a year ... grandpa ... 9 years ... they will always be remembered .

Hehe ... dad got me what I wanted ...

Hahas ... what a picture ! Last Saturday , my family and I went to Dad's hometown for tomb sweeping day . My uncle borrowed my camera to take this picture , to show that people also burn ling zhi as offering . The picture wasn't clear on my hand phone but its super clear in my computer . Wooo~ cheers to my dearest N95~ . During this day , people will also burn fire cracker because its ' their ' new year too .

Was out with my friends when I came across Burberry booth and like the latest Burberry fragrance , ' The Beat ' . It is a parfum that's why the fragrance is strong . My dad happen to be in the Bangkok and so I asked if he could get me one . I even said that if its more than $XX then don't get it for me . End up the price was over $XX but he still get it for me . End up the bottle size was double of what I saw in the booth .

On the left is the fragrance , ' The Beat ' its a eau de parfum ( from my Dad ) and on the right its , ' Brit Shear ' its an eau de toilette ( from my Mum ) . These are the two fragrances I have now . Hope to collect more Burberry fragrances in future !
