The past three weeks was hectic for me ... I wanted to blog these memories because they are special to me ...
The last week of school was surprisingly relax for me. The lecturer of a major assignment gave us a one week extension for the assignment. I clear my other 3 assignments and manage to not go school on Friday ... : ) Had a good rest on thursday night. Clean my room on the Friday and at night , went out with sister nic n her 2 guy friends. We played pool ! Its my first pool game in Melbourne. Jo is really very good ... remind me of him ( Ja ) ... but ... Jo is nicer, he taught us, sometimes he even put water ... Hahas ... La is super funny, he is more of dao dan, he will ignore the playing order and jump upon chance that have those easy balls ... sometimes, he didn't even manage to get it in.
The following week Mirabel and Sheeren came to visit me !!! I often had to pinch myself to know that its not a dream. I was expected to be their tour guide, end up they are my tour guide instead. They brought me to new places like Delgrave street and Brunswick Street. I fell in love with the cafe culture. We sat down, drank our coffees and watch the crowd go by. The only discomfort we had was to breath in second hand smoke.
On Friday night, Sheeren and I went to watch Mary Poppins. Its was my first musical ! I wore a maxi dress since its a formal dress code. I feel a little pretty in the dress. Its long and feels a little like princess. As we were running out of time, I had to pull my dress up a little so that I can walk with a bigger step. The musical was so fantastic that Sheeren and I can't help keep talking about it. After meeting my cousin and his wife, I realized how lucky we were. They had book months before. As for us, we only book 2 days before and at $40. I want to watch musical again !!!
Mirabel was meeting her friend at Brunswick street after planet shakers church. I didn't know it was so walkable from the church. Luckily Mirabel had study the map and Sheeren had done some exploring while I was studying at Hudson's . So we walked from the church to Brunswick street. Initially, I wasn't into that street. Till I went into the heart of the street. I fell in love with the street, the shops, the food, they even had $4 pizza after 7 pm. Can't wait to go there again. Some day some how I will blog about this again.
With Mirabel and Sheeren around, I was more motivate to do my best and get on with my major assignments and study. I tried to bring them around and work on my assignments at night. I would study at night till late and still wake up in the morning and bring them around. At least, that's what I should do. They are thankful for me taking out my time to bring them around, but I feel bad for not being able to bring them around much.
Proud of my little self , I ignore my lappy for many days to study for my semester. I know I am able to do my 3rd year subjects semester exams because I had been doing my assignments. As for my 2nd year subject semester exams, I couldn't really do it. I got exemptions in my lab and assignments, end up the most questions came out from there. Nic and I had the paper the same time but different venue. She too, screwed up her paper. Despite feeling bad too, I tried to make her feel better. We almost wanted to jet to Sydney to have a short trip and returning on Melbourne on Monday to study.I bought Nic a heart with key charm and the same one for myself so that she will feel better. Hope she feels better.
Dinner at night with cousins was a great one. As usual, chen hua( cousin's bf ) disturbed me, everytime I would beg Elyn ( cousin ) to let me kill him. First we had sushi burger, its was awesome ... I ordered Ebi mayo. Next we had desserts at passion flower ... it was awesome too ... we ordered random stuff and shared .Its double awesomeness in one night !!! Hau wei ( Cousin ) kept whatsapp my dad about the dinner and dad told him not to feed me too much !!! Dad is gonna get it from me ... Elyn kept talking about the good old times ... man ... I miss those times ... she remembered mum shouting from the door, asking me to bath, scolding me for playing out in the sun, for getting so tanned. I told Mum about it, she blames me for being naughty ... hahahas ... some stuff you do, its follows you for life ... :P
Today I slept for 12 hours, I feel rejuvenated . My bones are snapping especially my neck. I hope to go for a massage when I am back in Singapore . My neck is giving me problem, very stiff .
