Day 6 at Egypt

My tour group disembark the cruise after breakfast and transfer to the sightseeing of Luxor .
First we visited the valley of the king .

No pictures in the tomb , so I took pictures of the board , it have some pictures of the illustration inside . Inside of the tomb , the caretaker suddenly snap one of my tour member's camera . We were all in fright . He pay the caretaker US$1 to have his camera back ...
Then the valley of the queen ....

Inside the temple , no statues to take .

Only two statues place side by side outside the temple .

Then , we went to visit the Karnak Temple , one of the most well preserved temple .

From the half-way done constructed wall , it helps to tell how ancient people constructed the wall , they pile up mud to reach the upper part of the wall . after completing the entire wall , they knock the pile of mud away .

This is pailong( ? ) , later post will explained what it is been built from a piece of stone .

Hahas , finally a picture of me !

These are the ventilating windows .

One of the destroyed pailongs(?) , it enable us to see some of the illustration on above .

This is the pool where the priest will clean themselves , known as purifying .

This is the statue where people believed that if you walk seven rounds around it , singles will get attached or married soon , couples will have baby .
This is Luxor temple .

After lunch , we ( and also other tour buses who are going to Hurghada have to reach a checkpoint by 2 pm . Such that we will be guarded along the way .

Secretly , snap one of the picture of the police car .

Its not very clear but you can see that , there is so many tour buses , in between 2-3 buses , there will be police in between . We need to be protected because , it is a desert area and its near Iraq, they are afraid that there might be terrorist or robbery .

In the evening , we reached Hurghada .

-End of day 6-
