Poor treatment ...

I actually wanted to blog after meeting my clique but in the end we didn't meet up because something cropped up and so we had to cancel the gathering . So , no pictures to upload today ...

Today was the selection day for my school's Jan exhibition . Those in SP might know what it is . My group didn't want to be in the exhibition but because they have given us a time slot without asking us whether we want to be in it , so we went for the interview . It is not very nice to absent ourselves without giving valid reason as the time slot is already given to us .

Our group waited outside the room earlier than the appointed time slot but because many groups did not turn up for the interview , our group went in earlier . Then once we walk to the front of the lecturers , one started saying , ' laptop this table , give me the drawings and quotations to him and prototype to another table ' .

Then we replied , we are still at designing stage because the manufacturer advise us that certain parts are too difficult to fabricate so we had to edit our drawings . Then the same lecturer started shooting us with remarks like , ' we would not be able to make it in time for the exhibition ' . The other lecturer gave us a ' OUT from the selection ' face .

Then we show them our 3D cad drawing , the both lecturers kept quiet . They could see how complex our drawing was . The one lecture who kept talking still insisted that we progression is too slow . We left the room without showing them the power point we had prepared . Both the lecturers feeling not pleased .

Though we heard that they did the same for other groups . But I really don't like their attitude towards us . But what can we do ? To me , if our project is that good , even if we cannot make it in time for that exhibition , at least it help the people we intend to make for .
