Back from Bangkok

Hahas , I am back from Bangkok yesterday . Don't intend to blog about it initally because it was a sudden suggestion from my Dad to go Bangkok . We had to count ourselves lucky because we book on Thursday and manage to get tickets to fly on Friday . We also manage to get hotel rooms . within such a short time .

No tourguide = no morning calls , that's what I like about it ! Upon reaching Bangkok in the afternoon , we check-in into our hotels and headed to Chinatown , the must have in Chinatown is Shark-fin and bird nest . We ate the lowest grade one , cost $15 dollars per person . And some seafood . Walk around Chinatown and got some fruits like Cherry from there to eat at hotel .

Then we went to suanlam to look at the stuff , nothing much to buy because it is expected to be expensive . So we went back to hotel to rest .

Next morning , my Real sister brought me to the whole sale market . Got to buy everything in threes else it will be double the whole sale price . Find it cheap , everything is $5 , and some look like those seen it Far East Square . Hahas . Then we meet our parents to go to the shopping centers area .

Then when we go into Naraya shop . We ask ourselves , why are these people buying , then the longer we stayed in the shop , the more stuff we brought . Even till the day we checked out , we still find ourselves in the hotel's Naraya shop buying . Hahas .

Day 1 at Egypt

Arrive at the airport at night . Stuck in the custom for 40 minutes till the tour guide gave some money to the custom officer and travel to Pyramid Park to make check-in .

Day 2 at Egypt

First off visited the National Museum of Egypt . Inside lies the treasure of one of the youngest king in Egypt . No pictures inside ....




Next , one of the 7 wonders in the world , Cheop's pyramid . Only his pyramid qualify to be one of the 7 wonders , the rest not counted .

See how tall or wide each block is .

Next is Great Sphinx tomb ...

Off to natural fragrance place .

Then to how ancient people make paper .

The plant used to make paper .

Day 3 at Egypt

Wake up early in the morning to visit take a domestic flight to Aswan . First of is Aswan high dam .

Then off to Unfinished Obelisk , Egelika Island , Temple of Philae

Then off to visit the place where pailongs(?) are made .

First the draw the shape that they wanted . Then drill many holes around it . Then put wooden blocks in the holes and pour water into the holes . These wooden blocks will then expand and cause the holes to expand . Then the Pailong(?) will break away and float on the water .

A long motor boat ride to visit a XXXX ( I forgotten ! ) village

This is how the people celebrates for weddings . They rent many boats and link them together .

Nice housing , so different from Cairo ...
